Time for some art for a story I'm working on!
These three explorers have broken into a slob's house in Pallet Town after heading out from Professor Oak's lab so Maple, the Charmander, could look for a hat to compliment her flower.
She simply had to check out that house and see what was inside. To her amazement, there were several strange hats lying around on a pile inside of the messy house. She simply had to try one or two on before something else even more interesting catches her eye...
Um, yeah, you'll get a real introduction to all three of these characters in my upcoming story, Starting in the Lab - Kanto. Yes, there will be a total of four stories in that series, and yes, that does mean that I will be writing about and drawing a lot of starters. XD
It'll be really neat, I hope! ^^
As for this pic, I wanted to draw draw eyes a little bit differently, so I'm going with a new style sort of that I tried out in that last pic of Scotch I did. I'm not entirely sold on it, but it's kind of neat at the same time, so I dunno.
I really looooove Maple in this pic. X3 She's incredibly mischievous and curious, reckless and bossy. Yep, she's a great character and I feel like I was able to capture her personality. Same goes for the other two, actually, haha, but you'll have to see just how much later on, when I get the story posted. :3
Oh, and one more thing I need to vent about. This is the second pic in a row that I started off by drawing generic outdoor scenery on, only to change it right before I uploaded it because whatever scene it was from didn't happen outdoors. Haha. So now I have two stock backgrounds laying around... dammit.
