plant fossils! i have only ever found one it was a fern imprint in a piece of red shale that i unfortunately have lost over the course of the last 10 years. still wish i had it. plant fossils are so uncommon. Well anyway It's nice to meet a fellow rock derg and possibly a fellow rockhound?

Well I'm certainly fascinated by such physical history, I'm far from any expert on the matter. The enthusiasm mostly came from it being a short walk from the house, but it was still a place I would visit many times. The dig site primarily turns up plant fossils although a couple fish fossils have been reported over the years. I was not able to find any that day, needless to say.
