A bit of Karnos military information. This one is the Karnos of the current story timeline, not the past Human-Karnos War.

Basically, their military is one of the most technologically advance ones in the world. They have laser weaponry, and particle shielding(which work by creating a thin film of ultra dense particles to take the force of the attack, with a high regeneration rate given it's within capacity). However, they have a heavy reliance on both such technologies. Also use repulsor-styled hover technology. They favour direct firepower, so there's a total lack of artillery, and missile weaponry.

Some general information for each one:

Karnos Sting Troopers are basic infantry units. They wear armour plating which provide very limited protection, but it's actually a harness for their main protection, which is the particle shielding. The personnel variant envelopes the body in a film of ultra dense particles when sensors detect a fast moving projectile incoming. Training is pretty strict, and Sting Troopers are an effective fighting force when combined with transports as mechanized infantry.

Karnos Claw Troopers are melee specialist. When laser technology was made usable as weapons, the Karnos tried to exploit every aspect of it. Thus came the energy blades. As they have to close in with the enemy, they have an uprated shield. Also their training is far better than normal, producing troops that are physically fitter than the average Karnos(who are fitter than the average Human). As they are using energy blades, nothing but a similarly powered shield could block a swipe from one. Hence, once Claw Troopers make it to combat range, it's all over for their enemies. Best used in stealth attacks with stealth transports.

The Arkon Battle Tank is an advance hover tank used by the Karnos. They are fast, mobile and lethal. Armoured with the latest in composite technology, and shielded by a more powerful Directional-Projection Particle Shield, or DPPS(in which detects the incoming attack and projects an ultra dense film of particles in the direction of the attack to shield the vehicle from harm). It's laser cannon is powerful enough to melt through armour, and currently most tank lack proper protection against laser weaponry. Despite the tech, it has not been battle tested.

The Naros Stealth Tank is basically a visually redesigned Arkon lacking shields in place of an advance stealth and electronic warfare package.

The Zurco Transport is a hover transport carrying Karnos troopers into the fray. Entrance and exit is via side doors, covered by shield cover generators. The transport in itself has DPPS, and is armed with a similarly powered laser cannon. Size of transport compartment is unknown, though speculated to be around a group of six.

The Sviloc Drone is something relatively new to the world. Since not all Karnos are physically adept, some soldiers pilot Svilocs from the relative safety of home base. Range is not great, so it often is used as support for troops which carries transmitters. Theoretically dangerous, as it is protected by ballistic plating and sloped armour not unlike tank armour of the Karnos, while mobile enough to zip around with lasers blazing. The Karnos is currently attempting to develop an artificial intelligence program to enable Svilocs to run without pilots.
