Dendendenden or "Fourden" as many has come to nickname him, is an alien from another solar system. He has the ability to split himself into two other creature, named "Denden" and "Denden" while it seems confusing to earthlings, the two creatures are still Fourden, and should be considered one entity. Fourden is curious about live on earth and the creatures that live there and is quick to try and make friends.
