Dragons being what they are, the times they meet up usually end in snarling and elements being flung to and fro, be it from disputes on ideology, territory, possessions, or just not liking each other all that much. Even Veluren, passive as he is, has trouble staying entirely tame when dealing with other dragons. Urien came from a similar place, as a sea serpent he had rarely had friendly interactions with many and was usually on edge when dealing with others, wondering how long it would take for them to come to blows.
For that exact reason both were shocked when they met each other and the two began talking. As time passed and they shared discussion and thoughts both realized they felt no threat from one another. Perhaps it was their otherwise passive natures unless enraged, or maybe it's because Vel was unable and Urien uninterested in trying to vie for each others' territories. Either way, their first meeting quickly went from conversation to exploration, Veluren having never seen a sea-serpent dragon before, and Urien aware of but having never met a winged dragon, either, so naturally exploration of each others' bodies was in order.
Urien was equally pleased and surprised by the fire dragons' warm body, quickly making himself comfortable around Vel's form. Vel, for his part, found the smoother scales of his new hydrodynamic friend pleasing and his natural bio-electicity eliciting pleasant tingling all over. Before long, they were all tangled up in each other as their conversations continued well into sundown, questions about everything from diet to home passing between them well into the hours...
Aaaaaaa I love this. I admit that Urien is a character I have a particular fondness for as one who enjoys the more noodly types of characters (big surprise there, right?), so the two of us have been trying to get something of almost this exact idea since Urien as a character was made but kept running into bumps in the road. Being able to finally get this done left me a very happy dragon indeed.
Veluren and the writeup are both by me.
