A gift for my friend and fellow roleplayer, Ursa!

This was drawn specifically for our own enjoyment to celebrate these two characters that we really like, so
it may not really seem all that interesting, good, or make that much sense to anybody else, but that's okay!
She liked it, so that's all that really matters TBH ^^

These characters are an angel and a demon from the mortalsmonsters.jcink.net universe, a Jcink roleplay site created and managed by Tash and Neco. The setting is a post-apocalyptic fantasy, in which a curse transformed the human population into various monsters and magical mortals (ayyyy) three hundred years ago.

Nathaniel Lucian, Ursa's character, is a relatively young male angel with only one wing, the other having been amputated after a severe injury. He has had an extremely traumatic life and is a survivor of several types of abuse, but balances the mental scars with confidence, poise, and ownership of his androgynous appearance and personal desires. He currently lives a comfortable if questionable life as the manager of a strip club. The club is owned and shadow-run by a powerful vampire clan, the same clan whose leader has used Nate for several years as a blood source.

Randall Cera, my character, is a much older demon with simpler tastes but a much happier history, mostly consisting of travel and carnival work. Although Randall has experienced his own share of pain, loss, and heartbreak, he has had more than enough time to heal and is more than willing to help others do the same. After the group he worked with was overtaken by inevitable changes brought on by time, he left his old lifestyle to begin a new chapter in the city of Evergreen. He currently works as a bouncer in Nate's club, which is where they first met.

As the two interact more, it becomes obvious that Nate and Randall are ridiculously perfect for each other. However, because of Nate's predicament and allegiance to the vampire clan, as well as Randall's personal beef against vampires due to his own past experiences, this may get pretty complicated! Ursa and I are having a great time writing these two together, so I decided to draw a little something for our boys! I especially wanted to pay tribute to Nate's many different outfits, all of which are drawn from specific descriptions given in each thread. ♥

Just a note: Randall gave me a hell of a hard time, especially with his face. I tried and tried to get him to cooperate, but no, first his hairline was wrong, then the jawline, then the nose, then the eyebrows... I gave up when it came to adding any facial scruff. I may upload a different version once I actually get that happening, but for now, his face is naked and he can just deal with it. I'm sure Nate doesn't mind. -_-
