This is Alfie, he is currently up for adoption at the Coconino Humane Association in Flagstaff, AZ.

I cannot describe the impact I've had on this dog. After Roxy was adopted I suggested to Jackie at Petsmart to bring in a dog named Alfie. He was EXTREMELY underweight, dirty, obvious evidence of being tied up in a yard and left out, and untrimmed toenails. Despite everything that had happened (or not happened) in his young life, the only thing he wanted was to be touched. Here I was sitting on a picnic table with a dog that only wanted to be in my lap, on me, being loved.

Today Alfie is still for adoption. He's gained at least 15 pounds, he's clean, and healthy, with the most beautiful short haired coat I've seen. He even avoided possible euthanasia due to kennel cough.

Any yet, the only thing I did was suggest him to the Petsmart Shelter Volunteer. Jackie is the one who has put her time and money into getting Alfie healthy.
