In that case I'd guess that'd depend on your definition of lovers...without sex they'd just be close friends or buddies.

Yeah, my gallbladder had the gall to get really stoned, so it had to be removed.

Long ago, Hopper Roo and I were best buddies.
I was one of his "pouch buddies", for he adored that "full pouch feeling"
(yes, we know that only female roos/flyers have a pouch).
