"Are you sure it's time, honey?" Trinity and Valen were on their way to see their friend, a Pokemon breeder, to pick up the new family pet. If Colton's going to become a trainer, which the new parents anticipate, he should get introduced early on to Pokemon. How better to start with a baby of their own?

"I'm sure. He needs to get a start. Amy is...kind of intimidating to someone to little. Growlithe is much better. Soft, small, warm...protective. It'll be great." They arrive to the ranch, where their friend is. The man, holding a ball, smiles.

"Good morning! Intimidate pup, female, no IV's?" Trinity nods.

"Yes, that sounds about right. Thank you very much." He grins big.

"Of course! Thanks for the Arcanine!" He waves them off, watching them walk back home.


Later on, at the house, the new puppy is out of her ball, sniffing around in the nursery. Trinity grabs Colton's hand and walks slowly towards the nursery, dragging him away from his dad and his toys.

"I have something to show you, buddy. You're gonna love it." She opens the door to the nursery, and Growlithe runs out, sniffing the small child. Colton's eyes light up bright, as he looks at the huge amount of fur. He touches the new puppy, smiling big. The puppy licks his hand, then face, as Colton laughs.

"You think he likes her?" Trinity looks at Valen, then Colton.

"I think he loves her." Colton keeps giggling, hugging the Growlithe loosely as she licks his face.
