THE STORY OF THE PEACOCK PRINCE

In the king's royal garden, there lived the greatest flock of Peacock Wyvians that anyone could dream of, it was said not even his royal army could possibly stand up to the power of all his beasts combined, and the king took great pride in that, to which a prophet told him "one day, you shall become unworthy of their beauty and majesty, and you shall go without a single one of them".

A while after, a rather strange one was born; he was white, devoid of color save for a few purple spots here and there, he didn't look as beautiful as the other colorful, healthy Peacocks and the king, being the perfectionist he was, refused to raise it with the others because it did not match his other perfect ones.

The little albino one was sold to a breeder and everyone stood in shock as it reached adulthood, for it turned into a beautiful and elegant peacock of violets and purples, truly resembling royalty and majesty, when the king heard about this, he immediately offered a fortune for this Wyvian, to which the breeder accepted with a mischievous smile, "I'll have you know, I was never able to truly tame this Peacock" he said.

The albino didn't act like the others, it behaved both fiercely and indifferently, and many even reported hearing it speak to them in their minds with a voiceless voice, demanding an audience with the king. Ridiculous as it may be, the king accepted to hold an audience for the beast, not expecting anything but humilliation for those who claimed it could speak, but to his surprise... he began hearing a voice that said "I have come to take what is mine, for you took what was mine the moment I was born", the king understood, it meant the other Peacocks.

No one was able to prevent the albino from reaching the Peacock garden. Once there, the other Wyvians seemed absolutely enchanted by its presence, gathering around him and treating him as if he was royalty itself, an instinct took over them and they defended the albino prince from the king's army that had come to slay him, his every movement was nearly a command for all the other beasts, he extended his wings before the eyes of the king and in a threatening roar, he said with a voiceless voice "you are unworthy of my royal blood, I shall take my kind with me and there shall be bad blood between your descendance and mine, until the end of time". After this, the prince and every peacock from the king's garden, took off with him to never be seen again.

They say whenever a Peacock Wyvian strongly dislikes a particular human being, it may be that they belong to the king's long forgotten bloodline, either way, there's no way to know if that's true, no Albino Peacock has ever spoken again ever since.
