I've always loved this zone's song. It was quite the shock when I first heard it, I mean, all the other levels had fast, upbeat songs, then you get to Star Light Zone...and it's like: "Woah...chill....very mellow, kinda smooth jazz..."
I always pictured this with a lounge music type feel to it, full of electric piano, some strings, and of course, trumpet.
I like it, but some may say it's, I dunno, bleh.
But I don't care. I still like it.

ahh...i've always loved this zone's bgm. for the longest time i debated between this zone's bgm and green hill zone's. of course, i love the other zones' bgm as well, but these two were, and always will be, my favorite. great work! fabulous! five starrs (a pun IS intended, but more for my name than the song. hence, the two r's)!
level select, plus track 84 in Gens emulator, and i'm going to try to use the track to relax with after a Sheitty work week. little sleep at night. ( drama drama drama )
long story short, sonic rocks, but the newer ones for the next gen console's i've seen. not so. i'll keep 1 through knuckles.
