The shading on the hair is what I think turned out the best for shading, though I can't help but say that the ears are really damn good too, as is the necktie. The upper torso area is the part I think might be improved, but since I know next to nothing about shading, don't quote me on that XP

Also, the left eye there, the detail on it cannot be properly complimented, as I can't think of the right words to say how awesome that looks o.o it almost looks 3-D in fact to me...

It's kinda hard to add shading on the torse when there's nothing there and not even cleavage lol On a regular pic, that shows more, there'd be much more shading. So that's why it may look off or there's not enough detail lol

I agree, and with the positioning, the shading is just right anyway-I was just pointing out where the shading was least, which..I kinda see is really redundant xD buut either way, you have my review :3

I completely agree with Chibitails on this, that's a helluva good job you've done there! The only thing I can see that could improve would be the shadows on the right side of her face (left side of pic); the reflection in her left eye implies the light shining slightly oblique towards the right eye (and gives a reason for it's squint?) but the shadows from her hair fall evenly, right and left side. Perhaps I'm just reading too much in the pic, but it looks like the shadows on the right side of her face should fall in the same direction as the left side.

Shading is the most difficult part while colouring a picture, and I really like the way you did :D
The shading in the hair it' just amazing X3

Now I watch the pic closely, I cannot quite understand where the light comes from... Sometimes it seems shadows are in contrast with each other, the hair and ears suggest a light from above, but doesnt' match with the ones on the face because all the right part is missing...

This doesn't absoluteky mean I don't like it!! Great job!

Ya, I did the shading differently then I usually do this time, though I din't really think of where to place lighting, was more just trying to make it blend right and everything lol

I think the shading looks lovely on this one, especially on the hair. You also did a really nice job shading the bandana, it almost looks 3D ^^

Hmmm, I like it. I think the shading should be darker, but that's more a matter of taste. ^_^

I noticed the nose mark is "angular" while the ear marks are "natural".
