Hey all! It's high time that we had another submission don't you agree? :3 This amphibian here is called the Valley and Ridge Salamander, which is a pretty unique common name. They live in the eastern united states around the Appalachian Mountains, and are apparently quite active around this time of year - early fall. There was a pretty in-depth study done on these little guys in 2016 which you can check out here: http://www.herpconbio.org/Volume_11....._etal_2016.pdf
