Inktober Day 11 - Snow feat. Lapras, the water and ice Pokemon!

I know, I'm going out of order a little but I'm already behind and really wanted to draw Lapras (and coming up blank for the next prompt of "swing"). Unfortunately this one comes out as a fail, bleargh. It was going so well and looking great till I tried to add the water. Normally I can take my water color pencils, a damp, not dripping, brush, and smear some watercolor pencil color around a bit, even on non-watercolor paper (even if it warps a little). Noooope. Apparently this notebook papers is a complete, hard, "F-you!" on water of any sort, even barely damp brushes. It refused to let the watercolor budge at all and soaked up the little water there was. And then the ink that hadn't bled at all under the alcohol markers bled with the water. *facepalm* Oh well, lesson learned.
