There's something to be said for times past, where any 'creature' which bore any resemblance to a reptile of any desctiption, was labled 'dragon' I know this isn't relivent in the furaffinity age, as it were, due to how versed we all are on species, but it's the first thing I thought of when reading your post.
I like this. Haze can be a "whatever" too, haha.
I always call her a hybrid or a chimera (which is just like saying she's a hybrid, pretty much)
But yeah, people think anything that's scaley/lizard-y is a dragon. :I I thought the tail and legs were a dead give away...
