Bigger aircraft. Similar mission-ish (whacking things on the ground), much faster, and...the wings don't fold nearly as much, yo'.

you know sins the F/A-18 first came out I did not like it at all but after all the years have gone by Im now starting to like the Hornet.

Probably for the best..in a couple years time the entire carrier air wing save the E-2 will be Hornets!

yea the F/A-18 and the F/A-35 will mostly do the work but the E-2 and the C-2 will still be around thous two have been in longer then most of the ships and there no word taking them out just more updates on them :)
