Okay let's be real, 19th century me would have specialized in drawing wealthy british landowners' livestock as super sized status symbol and there's no denying it.
Also, I'd have owned the fattest cat in town.

Thank youuuu! I took mostly this painting as reference for the background and was surprised how dull the colors actually were and then tried to replicate that. If I had drawn it from imagination, it would have been way brighter and Jameel's spots, for instance, would have been more violet than brown. But yeah, the browns really help to bring out the old-fashioned look.
