Jamie's early life is as mysterious as the depths of the ocean he saves people from. Not even his first family knows anything about his past before he evolved into a samurott, but one can assume it had been rough. Regardless, the man himself was far less of an enigma than his history, and has always been well known for his altruism and open mind. He also happens to be a especially unique hybrid, being half samurott and half charizard, a mix thought impossible, but it did grant him a special set of thin, sharp wings that worked well both in the air and under the water, allowing him to perform his task as a deep sea rescue Pokemon with unparalleled ease.

Jamie popped into existence when he signed up for a breeding license for the first time ever, in the same town Claire, Colton's mother, lived. The two met and became each others first, and found an unexpected spark between them that quickly blossomed into a powerful romance. Unfortunately, after their first two eggs hatched, birthing Colton and his twin sister Claire, Jamie found himself blinded by panic, feeling completely unprepared and unqualified to be a proper father, and with no warning disappeared, throwing himself full force into his profession.

Jamie really only feels complete when hes out in the deep sea. The solitude and serenity calms him mind and hones his senses. When hes on a job the samurott is like a well oiled machined, honing in on distressed vessels with remarkable precision, before diving into the waves and gracefully saving any poor soul struggling in the waves. For years he buried himself body and soul into the open ocean, but eventually the guilt of abandoning his blossoming family overcame him, and forced him to return.

Now, he's back in the town he first met Claire, after almost sixteen years of being away, trying to sum up the courage to face his family again, determined to make up for all the lost years and do right by his children.
