Peaceful and serene was the forest. A cave to offer shelter from the freshly fallen SNOW. When suddenly the tranquility is shattered when a DRAGON swoops down. Bouts of flame rend the forest asunder. Overhead the wyrm surveys the destruction it had wrought, looking down on the vast fields of ASH and ember left in his wake.

Out of nowhere, the flora retaliates. The dragon is rebuked as a sudden OVERGROWTH of trees and vines lash out and ensnare the terrible fire reptile. For this forest was under the watchful gaze of The Archdruid. A LEGEND often told of in fables but almost never seen.

With the drake vanquished, peace and order is restored and life returns to the forest. Already the inhabitants reclaim the land, rightfully belonging to the WILD.

So I have done stretches of thematically connected sketches in the past, but this was by far my longest at six. I was amazed not only how coherent I was able to make this sequence, but how well I was able to form a dramatic narrative based on the official prompt list and the order they appeared.

And with that, we have also passed the half way mark. Just 15 more to go!
