I went to do some birdwatching at my parents' place few weeks ago, mostly to try out my new Olympus 50-200 f/2.8-3.5 lens. When I first reviewed photos I took, on my laptop, the results seemed uninspiring, so I just downloaded them and forgot about them. Today I finally got around to peek at them on a better screen.. and was awestruck how /sharp/ this lens actually is! The image here is a teeeny crop of the original file (which measured 3648x2736), without any rescaling or sharpening. The only modification was to bump colour a little.
