Stepping off of the streets and into the Giant's Liver, a bar fit for both the dwarven kobolds and the giantkin dragonfolk, we were greeted with even more applause and cheers than we had received on the stage. Patrons wasted no time in offering to buy us drinks, crowding us and inquiring about our backgrounds and our powers. It was hard not to brag, as if the weight of the trauma we had endured to earn our talents was lifted and we were left with only the pleasure such abilities brought. When a few ruffians attempted to start a fight, Bigby and I effortlessly lifted them up and escorted them out of the bar to the sounds of approving whoops and hollers.
Before long we found ourselves on a small stage in the bar, accepting and rejoicing in our status as minor celebrities. As Jean belted out a drunken song with Pick's accompaniment, Caden took to my shoulder and joined the fun. I could only smile, forgetting my fears of what was to come as the celebration commenced.
As the Pathfinder campaign progressed, our party found it necessary to convince a nation of self-assured dragonfolk that isolationism and basking in its own power was blinding it to its own potential. With world war on the horizon and the nation prepared to hold a snap election to replace its heads of government after an assassination, our party took center stage at a debate and showcased its own incredible powers during arguments, hoping to sway the election to favor a more worldly candidate over the front-running isolationist. Stepping away to a bar afterward, the party was celebrated for its strength and purpose. Little did the party heroes know the consequences of its actions, though, as the draconic lust for power would see the party become such popular write-in candidates that they would win the election themselves.
