Magnus, being afflicted with some manner of shadow beast lycantrophy along with the mutations he went through to reach his current form, gives him a strange mutual relationship with his inner beast. The truth is, they're both reckless lovers of combat, so they really are the same person in both forms. One form is just a bit more intimidating.
I dunno if I'm satisfied with this look, and to be blunt, I'm a little too sleepy for it today. Tried anyway, and here we are, it ain't very good compared to the last few but that's just how it goes, win some lose some.
