Adopt challenge, the second task: "toxic colours".

My interpretation of creature named rymon from Alanian myths. As you know, there are deposits of uranium ore near Beshtau mountain. There are also some alanian settlements (VII-X a.c.). Those two facts gave me an idea of how to rethink classical myths about rymon.

According to legend, doe could give bitth to two types of cubs. The first type is regular baby deer, the second type is an unusual creature - rymon. When doe sees her ugly cub, she runs away and rymon, which is left alone, starts to kill everything he sees - trees, animals, people. It continues until kind spirits kill him and tear his body into pieces.
But legends are not quite right. For real, rymon is usually created by the spirits of uranium which turn doe cub into deadly creature to protect deposit from human or enemy spirits. Rymon is not evil or even aggresive, but he brings death to living creatures, just because of his nature - his flesh includes elements of enriched uranium. So, he is just radioactive as hell. Poor boy.
