She remembered the conversation very well... Her boss, Laguna, the plump Swampert coming towards her with a sly look on her face. "Ah, Bridget," she had greeted. "Just the 'Zard I wanted to see~"
She remembered becoming fascinated immediately upon seeing the Swampert's expression. That look always meant she was up to something unorthodox. She had answered. "What's up?"
"Bridget, regarding your Mega Evolution training," the Swampert began. "There's been a... change in plans..."
She remembered looking confused. "... Oh..."
"Indeed. I've recently began investing in something a bit more special in mind for you, dear, "she remembered the Swampert's mouth forming a wide, ear-to-ear smile. "Something... bigger..."
"Bigger than Mega Evolution?" she had asked.
"Oh yes... MUCH bigger. Something that'll truly leave a lasting impression on the public."
She remembered staring at the Swampert for a moment, before forming her own ear-to-ear smile, and replying, "... I'm listening~"
Looking back at the conversation, even now as building after building toppled over from her might of her hips, Bridget could only think that this was the greatest thing Laguna had done for her.
The training was only beginning...
