I sketched this after i saw a moose in a field, standing majestically as they sometimes do. It was only the third time i've ever encountered one so it was pretty sweet (though the previous times were much more epic because they were right near my car and they were moving... the first moose was running and it was early on a chilly fall morning and their hide was steaming, can you imagine?!?! It was seriously awesome. Moose are awesome okay!!)
Anyway that was several days ago now, but i managed to finish this up. I really liked how the sketch came out and wanted to go all out with the finishwork.
"Moose" loosely translated means "thick" in case you didn't know.

Ooh wow! Sounds like a wonderful experience! I've seen a couple moose in captivity over here, and they are such massive beasts! Huge hoofers, really impressive and more than a little bit scary up close at times!
And this moose lazy you've rendered is just as wonderful! In different ways perhaps~ Damn those thighs and rump are beautiful <3

Don't know whether she deserves the prize for the comfiest looking booty or for the silkiest ear folds (both I would say). Love her friendly smile <3
Uh-huh, so love the variety of texture and subtle detail that's going on here <3 makes me want to pick up a pen and try new things with it.

MORE MOOSE BABES!!!
BTW, there is NOTHING more deadly in the woods than a Rutting bull moose, or a cow with a calf.
Years ago while camping, I had a female moose (minus calf) literally stick her head inside the tent. Initially freaking the crap out of me (It was bear country too, had a .357 inside the tent in case). But she snuffled about and then calmly walked off. Later came back and watched us from only a dozen feet away a few minutes, then came back and stole a loaf of bread off the folding table.
My cousin lives in Alaska in the middle of nowhere, he has a bull moose that almost daily visits his house, just to get his share of waffles, pancakes or peanut butter cookies via a kitchen window. They call him the "1000 pound Cookie Monster". And yes, they have successfully fed him treats by hand and pat his face. But come rut, they rarely see him til after rut.
