In most horror movies, a doll usually comes to life by an evil spirit seeking vengeance, corruption, or the death of others; and sometimes a drop of blood and a ritual can do the trick just as well. If that weren’t enough, possessed/living dolls have a tendency to equip themselves with weapons that would be most beneficial in their artificial hands; such as knives, needles, and other sharp instruments. However, I feel as if scissors would be the best object for a toy to use. Think about it: something that seems somewhat insignificant to us, could be expertly used in the hands of a toy. So long as the scissors aren’t safety, then they would make a fine weapon for a doll. So lets take that idea and see what would happen with Annie, should she be an evil vindictive doll hellbent on the death of normal people. The results are…as you would suspect: a murderous marionette with the tendency to ask someone to “play” with her and cut them down while giggling wildly! Fortunately, Annie doesn’t have that temperament, nor has that though ever crossed her mind.

This was an awesome little “Fantasy Bullshit” commission done by JinTonic over on Weasyl ( Jin&Tonic on Weasyl ) featuring Annie befitting the horror movie trope of evil doll. The idea for her weapons came from a lot of different sources where scissors are used as an offensive option: Kill la Kill’s rending scissors, Clocktower’s scissor man, Puppeteer’s Calibrus, and Akame Ga kill’s Extase. So, who’s ready to have their “strings” (in this case tendons) cut? Just promise you wont fall to pieces on me! XD Hope you all enjoy!

*TRIVIA: During her time as an inanimate doll, Annie was never called by her real name of “Annalise”, as the name was given to her by the first girl who played with her, and the subsequent owners.
