Happy Halloween, everybody! ...It's not Halloween yet, you say? Well, it seems to be a several-long month event thanks to Corporate America; could be worse though considering how fun the spooky artwork that comes from it is.

What's also welcome is that the super cool Vir-no-Vigoratus is doing his daily Spooktober series again, which involves horror-related (but also often cute or amusing) drawings done in a thematically awesome monochrome style; it also features unique paintbrush and lighting techniques compared to his colored artwork. From the various themes, I decided to commission something for the "Madness" entry, and Glass is getting a precious "Trick or Treat" drawing later!

This spooky yet silly art is a sequel to the Ripper Roo possession art from a few months ago, featuring Felix still possessed by the insanely crazy Ripper Roo, no thanks to the ferret deciding to try on a random straitjacket he found at an abandoned asylum. It seems the helpless victim eventually found his way out into a public setting, and it didn't take long for the tongue-sticking fool to get checked in somewhere due to his disruptive behavior. Once he got there, Ripper kept shaking too much and his laughter was annoyingly loud, so he's forced to sit in this cushioned room until he calms down a bit. One of the doctors will eventually think to take off the cursed straitjacket so that Felix reverts to his old self... right? Unless they plan on studying him for a while...

The shadow effects and upward point-of-view definitely help this fun drawing's mad atmosphere, plus Felix's forcibly crazed expression is still extremely amusing to me. Felix's physical details are also accurate, and the restrictive clothes look surprisingly comfortable too. Thanks again, Vir, and everybody else be sure to check out his other artwork sometime! I highly recommend commissioning him as well.
