Round 2!
As a special theme for October, I brought each of my previous YCH's "Back from the Grave" to be drawn one last time, each of them transformed into their dark counterparts. The commissioners don't know exactly what I'll be doing with their pieces until they see them, and each one could be Gothic, spooky, or Unseelie, whatever feels most fitting. Once these are done, the bases are officially retired and won't be brought back again, so this is one last chance to see them!
This base was from July's YCH "A Dance with the Exotic" and features
's character Yasha. Since the original YCH was based on Carnival, this one seemed like a good one to translate to a Dia de los Muertos theme, a celebration of life transformed to a celebration of the afterlife. I always try to do something with this theme each year and I really enjoyed working on it!
I will be doing these all month long, so enjoy the show and I hope it gets you hyped for Halloween! ^_^
