The Christmas Lantern, symbol of the star that led the Three Wise men upon the stable where The child Jesus was born.

Traditionally the frame is made of bamboo and wrapped in cellophane or Crepe Paper and tinsel is wrapped around it. Sometimes a smal lightbulb is put inside as well, this is usually put on the window of the house to guide the people just as it did all those centuries ago.

Though Ive always thought it looked more like a Pentagram as a kid which disturbed me back then when during the days when my elder cousins used to scare me with threats of summoning the devil or whatnot.
