This is my character Roovie drawn in a style to match his appearance in my texture hack of SADX. Due to the limitations of both SADX hacking and my own hacking ability, Only Roovie's textures are modified, giving him a significantly stronger generic Sonic fan-character-esq style.

Regularly, Roovie's(And Apolycolelipse's) ears are long and floppy due to them being North American Long Eared Hedgehogs instead of African Pygmy Hedgehogs like all the other hedgehogs in the series. They're ears are also rotated backwards. He almost looks like a different character entirely with his ears rotated the right way and not extremely droopy when they are...

The fake emerald he's wearing came about as a solution for his lack of exposed skin or furry patch on his chest. While I don't normally draw him with his fake emerald, I really like how it looks on his super form, Super Roovie. It's entirely cosmetic, as the plot work needed to explain a second fake emerald is just too stupid to even touch...
