For nostalgia sake, this is technically the first picture I ever drew after discovering the furry culture online. I had drawn plenty of stuff before which I won't mention or abuse you with, but that was before I knew about 'furry'.
A little backstory: When I first came online, I wasn't a dragon; I was a black fox who, looking at the picture, appeared to have fire-resistant hands. I don't remember why. Probably because having a super power was cool.
Done waaaay before the age of digital colouring - this just used a black biro and some pencils. This is a rescan of the original art I found the other day for my 15-years montage, cleaned up a little to get the background paper looking white, bit otherwise unmodified.
It'll go in scraps after I've had my fun with it. By all means ignore this one and go look at my other pictures - I have got a lot better since then.

Yes, yes it does. Not as far back as this though, my first ever fully digital dragon, and probably one of the first digital pics I ever did. That goes back a few more years to '92-'93 at a guess.

My fursona seems to change every four years. In 2004, I started out in high school as a fox, because of the "Star Fox" series of games. Then, in 2008 before collecting a single conbadge, I become a grey wolf after learning about those noble animals in Alaska. Then, in 2012, I made him a black wolf in part because I love the Philadelphia Sound but unfortunately, as I learned from my high school teacher, it's not supposed to be the kind of music a guy like me would like so my alter ego would have to serve as a liaison to that genre of music.
