Amazing piece. A very well deserved first-prize indeed! Looking at the picture immediately gave me the idea someone just starting to enter the fandom. Not because of the character itself, but because of all the little things like the stuffed dog, the picture taped haphazardly up on the wall, and the teddy bear on the shelf. Not to mention the child aspects that go along with it, like the dart board and the randomly strewn socks on the floor.

Very nicely done; as others have already noted, it's not a big surprise that you won first place. And also not a surprise that Wendy was such a cute pup; the great big puppy paws are adorable. The adult-sized glasses perched on her head are a really nice touch and add a bit to the character's history, since if she's had them that long, they must mean something to her. An appealing innocent image for a girl who's going to be quite the wild young she-wolf in not that many year, according to your pictures of her "grown-up: self!
