Time for some lore art of the project I'm working on!

This here is a depiction of the outfit young Griffids wear when going through their Rite of Rebirth! I don't want to spoil too much, but the Rite of Rebirth involves a period of fasting, getting drugged whilst being wrapped in a silk cocoon (protects the ceremonial robes and their feathers) and getting buried at the roots of their sacred tree as the drug knocks them unconscious. They enter a dream-like state where they usually have some sort of epiphany about life (past, present, or future), and then they are hauled from the dirt when they start to wake up.

Their friends and family share in much feasting and celebration after! You're an adult now, congratulations, time to party!

I'm super pleased with how this turned out though.
