Hi there and first of all thank you very much for the huge ammount of comments I have received from this picture http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3320100 More than 100 comments! that´s a lot and thanks for that.

So to show you my appreciation, I gathered all the progress shots I had stored on my HDD and did this. It´s not a step by step, because it would have broken my concentration on it, but everytime I did a mayor change I made a shot of the current stage.

Notice that between the sketch and the final picture there have been a lot of changes on it: If I think that I should do a change I go for it, if I feel if it´s gonna benefit the final result.

Also notice that I used painter X to paint the dragon, while the final touch ups and the cave were done on Photoshop CS3: The cave was done using a mixture of custom brushes with different textures, and overlayed and at a 70% several stocks made by myself of rocks and mountains.

The dragon was painted with the "Smeary round oils", smudge" in blenders tool, and "Square Chalk 35" so all of the dragon was hand painted and I didn´t use textures for it.
