Having thought of (formerly and ) the other day ('cause I hand't heard much or anything at all from her, especially since the last drawing she made for me roughly six years prior), I wanted to see if I could track down her old original drawings. From there, I somehow noticed her BF's account and followed that, and then I saw on his page some pieces of his own that he collaborated with someone else... whose style and character were all too familiar! So I went to that other account - by the name of - and left a shout on there just to see if it really was Kat... and sure enough, she did get back to me and told me that it was indeed Kat in the flesh (er, fur)! HOORAY! WE REUNITED!!!

And of course, seeing as how I'm able to draw fairly decently - but was never able to before when I once had her for a week as my "art disciple" - I really wanted to draw something for her to commemorate us reuniting as awesome friends! And of course, despite her having brand-new fursonas and characters - not to mention styles - I still stuck with her adorable little housecat character 'cause I've always wanted to draw her but never could before!

It was a real honor and a lot of fun to be drawing such an adorable kitty at long last (totally overdue, lol)! I wanna draw more of her and her characters in the future for sure!

I wasn't sure where to have put them, so I just went with a simplistic, fun background to compliment the gentle nature of the pair hanging out together!

And if nothing else, this is the first drawing I've completed with my tablet using the new desktop I got!
