Title says it all. Not my usual fantasy-soundtracky-style; but I wanted to share it anyway. Some piano parts are a bit... hicky, but hey - that's what the song is about! :)

Thank you for the kind words; even though I don't quite agree. You're good at playing the piano; in fact, I think my recording here is far away from being perfect, it's rather lousy.
I was considering to tweak it and redo single parts until they'd be 'acceptable', but decided it'd be against the idea behind the song. I had a lot of fun playing it; and doing it over and over again just to make it 0.5% better wouldn't be about 'sit down and have enjoy' anymore.

Uff, da gibts keine feste Zeit. Prinzipiell leider nur wenn ich zu Hause bin; wenn ich was im Kopf habe muss ich ein Klavier in der Nähe haben um es auszuprobieren. Nach einer halben Stunde weiss ich dann ob das was wird, oder nicht; dann wirds erstmal aufgenommen und gespeichert, und je nach dem wenn ich gerade eine kreative Phase habe arbeite ich daran.
You posted this in the forum thread, it's a lovely piece as I've already said, but it's not a performance as you've multi-tracked it and added more instruments afterwards, that thread is just for one take things (or recorded in one go, obviously you can record and get it wrong and record it again and again till you get it right and then upload)

Vanity isn't so much of a sin as you believe it to be. If you're proud of your work, it's going to feel good when someone else takes the same joy in it that you do. I gain much satisfaction from any comments and compliments that I get on my writing, even though I'm just doing it for fun.
