This was an old image I sketched out a long time ago, back when I was still actively doing my Dracology shtick. The small furry creature here is Izumiko, a small, furred dragon I came up with who acted as a guardian for a hot spring in the Eastern continents. When I found the old image inked but still unfinished I decided I'd put it in Clip and get it finished up.

I tried a few new ways to do things this time around, testing out adding fur details into shading, actually taking the time to seriously try to make the outlines have a nice colour match, painting the background as best as I can manage... I actually am pretty happy with the final product this time, even if all of the dots on Izumiko's fur pattern and the little hatch marks and eraser scratches really started to really hurt my wrist after a while. Guess that's what I get for doing this all in like 9-ish hours.
