After such a long time, I tried to make a few traditional art again. (Partly thanks for a new printer/scanner.) And I thought a dragon should be a good re-start :) So this is my first semi-traditional picture I made this way. I got really unused to traditional drawing, so I was really nervous... But it was also a blast to draw again like this, just like in the good old days :D I decided that I'll only color on PC for now, because I want to know how I can shade these pictures.
Hope you like it :)

The dragon sold this picture it's size gives you a true feeling of 'Bigger then life feel" he is beautiful deatils.. in fact he has alot of deatils considering his size and I would like to ask how much was this Hand made before digitally scanning it for your color skills? The sheer idea of deatiling something that massive on a standard printer paper is alot of work but yet most fun when done. Again it's beautiful.
Poetry/Inspiration;
"You can mount a horse and rule a state you can mount a elephant and rule a eimpre but Mount a dragon and the world is yours. Becareful as ruleing a dragon is dangerous for inreturn you rule over nature and nature can swallow you whole if it finds you a threat."

This is stunning. As always.
I love the ancientness the dragon gives off. That look makes it totally understandable on how they can still hide even today.
Now I hope you don't mind me asking.
Is this pencil or ink as a base?
And did you use the tablet to add opacity to some of the farther peices and sharpen others.
