An extra scene from the comic.
Here we see Shade falling out of his bed. Not surprising as he not used to sleeping it one. His "caretaker" Cid, gets annoyed from the constant wake up calls in the middle of the night.
As you can see, he provide a pretty good solution. Despite Shade's annoyance with the rails, it works.
