Commentary for July 8, 2019:

Sonic the Hedgehog's arch nemesis, Doctor Eggman will be returning to Eon's World, Vol. 2 in Chapter 11, which I hope to be doing next year at the latest, after having briefly appeared at the end of Chapter 7. Eggman has been exiled on a distant planet for over seven years now, but he does have the Chaos Emeralds and has been steadily building a new Death Egg in preparation for his return to Earth...

After such a long absence, I decided it would be fitting to give Eggman a bit of a makeover. His outfit is inspired by several different incarnations of the character, including SatAM/early Archie Robotnik, Sonic Boom Eggman and, of course the mainline games version. Given that it's been a few years, I decided to give the doc some wrinkles and a few liver spots to show his age. (I actually have no idea how old he is, but I've always pictured him as being around fifty, so I would guess he's about sixty at this point).
