Of all symbols of pre-collapse civilization to survive, the 8-pointed start that represented the Solar Corporate Consortium is by far the most well-known. The eight diamond represent the eight largest member corporations, with the center circle being-originally a symbol for the earth sphere- a mutation of the alchemist symbol for the Sun, or Sol.

Though the nation it represented is long dead, the logo still dots many mega-structures and dormant superweapons found across the inner solar system. Small insurgent groups still fly the flag of the old world, doing whatever they can to try and reactivate the myriad relics and sabotage actions of the new nations in order to bring about their twisted vision of the future.
