This piece showcases the typical outfit of the Sailaran Griffid border guards. It is designed to be functional both as protection against outside threats, and as a way to scare Sailaran citizens away from the border. There is bad juju outside the border, so don't worry, it's for their own protection rather than a "you can't leave cause I said so" system.

The guards have a saying: Better to be scared and chased by what you think is a Shadow instead of death by anactual Shadow.
