Carol is was born in Vancouver, British Columbia.
At the age of twenty she joined the REDACTED program for the Royal Canadian Air Force as a pilot. It was here she met Nathaniel Odessa who was working alongside CTI personnel developing prototype REDACTED for the military. During her years in the air force she began to spent more time alongside the CTI development team and developed a budding relationship with Nathaniel. Eventually the two of them began to spend time together off base, and after many romantic nights / years together the two finally married.
As Nathaniel took over CTI Carol found her years as a pilot winding down, instead using her experience with REDACTED to work at the company in the drone development program. She began to oversee UAV development in R&D division three.
Eventually however, the two of them decided that they would take things a bit further. Carol found herself pregnant with a child (although she would still work often, even when things got further along there was still work she could do from a chair.) Eventually in the mid-nineties she gave birth to a girl who she named Lucy after her grandmother.
