The human girl Anne, after she impressed the angel Chaman, the headmistress of the danceress guild, with her skills, was given a bed to sleep in the den of the guilds apprentices.
Her bed-neighbour is Tanaz ibn Ardach. And as Tanaz was ordered to learn more about humans as to be able to manipulate the boy Manfred, Tanaz willingly accepts a treatment she'd not take from any other fenwa.
Sometimes, when Anne sleeps bad, Tanaz cuddles against her, and the human girls sleep eases.
Then again, Tanaz found she actually enjoys the scent of humans and their hands in her fur.
