I drew pony Dib, so now it’s time for pony Gaz: Pixel Mania!

So as mentioned on Mothwing’s post, Pixel is a skilled gamer and artist. By this point in time, Equestria has advanced far enough in technology to have things like hoofheld consoles, high-definition television, Internet thus allowing for online gaming, etc. Probably helped in part by Twilight building relations with the human universe, allowing for a free exchange of magic and technology. In fact, Membrane Labs regularly makes huge breakthroughs in both fields, and especially in combining them.

Pixel started out making her own indie games, designing everything herself. The programming, the artwork, the character designs, writing the stories. They weren’t that great at first, but she found a good network of friends and fans who supported her and gave her advice, and she was able to produce more and more quality games. She got to the point that she was able to begin selling them, and with her dad’s help, ended up founding her own company. She hired people to help her, the business grew, and within years she’s a famous video game tycoon whose company produces a wide range of genres and her name is as well known as Membrane’s.

She also enjoys playing her multiplayer games with whoever happens to be put in a party with her, getting a sort of smug enjoyment out of the excitement creatures express when they recognize her gamertag. Against the advice of her PR team, she goes by GamerMare420 but people think it’s hilarious so no harm done.

Pixel is on decent terms with her older brother. They had a rockier relationship as foals, Mothwing was loud and irritating, constantly trying to pull her away from her hobbies and schoolwork to go investigate different magical creatures and local myths, and they got into arguments and even physical fights a lot. But over time they found a mutual respect for each other, they are siblings and they still love each other, and now as adults they have a strong, unbreakable bond. Though they still tease each other and play fight, of course. Why wouldn’t they, it’s their Thing.

Anyway, while Pixel is affectionate with her family and can have fun with her fans, she’s not a pony to be crossed. She’s fairly aloof toward strangers and tends to growl when talking to people she’d rather not be dealing with at the moment, and those who get on their bad side tend to find her snarling teeth in their face and her horn glowing a vivid, eerie purple. Most people back down and apologize at that point. Those that push her get blasted across the room and screamed at. At least, that’s how she was as a filly. She manages to get a hold of her aggression as she gets older, and now it would take a LOT of pushing to get her to attack rather than just turning and walking away. Still, she’s got a reputation as someone you don’t want to mess with.

Oh, and when Zim arrives? Pixel doesn’t take him seriously at all. She doesn’t necessarily buy his “I’m here to learn about Equus and meet peacefully with your species!” talk, but she also doesn’t see him as a competent Invader, which she tells Mothwing on multiple occasions. She mostly just avoids Zim. And he avoids her. She stumbled across one of his secret hidden battles with Mothwing once and nearly gored him, like she was so angry she didn’t even need magic, and that is not an experience he wants to live again.
