
10/22 second patch up.
It's up, I fixed all the annoying bugs people complained about, touched up the cutscenes and added a new one for Trixie falling in a tentacle pit. Game page is found here.
I also added a cave section and made it so you can access to the creepy cottage as well as two outcomes for it. The game in demo form as a free to play in about a week or so. It will be about the same scope as this build with some of the larger scenes cut.

Sad the say, but the cave section is still broken. It spawns the character down at the bottom of the screen instead of on the platform in the caves.
Cottage is really great though! So far I've only found one outcome for it, but it works if you head left right away instead of going right.

olove the game dude, its awesome. One part i need to harp on though is the darkness added in. Its way too dark in some stages, especially the one where you enter the test build area from 2014 or whatever- with the ursa behind you and giving chase towards a cliffside. I can't even see in that place period. And idk if its a bug, but the "turn off darkness" switch only works in the hub/starting area where you switch it, it doesn't carry over to the other fields. dk if its a bug or not, just thought i'd bring it up. Still a great game!
Looks like that darkness bug is still present. It actually works as intended in the editor. But it has issues on the .exe. It shouldn't be a difficult fix.
As for the darkness I am giving the player a slightly larger light radius on normal difficulty. They will only have that small one you had on the nightmare difficulty setting. I am also putting in a few more light sources in areas that need it and will be increasing the overall lighting in that ursa chase area you played.

thanks ^^ only way i could get passed it was by increasing my brightness on my computer (which you'd think would be an easy step but the stupid thing just HAS to be complicated and take several minutes on mine P_P). One question I do have- is there anything special in the bad ending area (in the cottage)? Its actually possible to beat the monster chasing you and everything and i was wondering if something special happened if you did or was supposed to happen?
Also another bug area- Level 3, the cave area. When you enter the cave and can go up, there's an invisible enemy where the bear is supposed to be. I know its the bear because passed him there's a bear walking idly in place that's untouchable, so i'm assuming that was misplaced...

3rd bug (sorry for all the reports, i'll stop if you want, just trying to help catch them all), when you lose all your hp as trixie, you come to a defeat animation and turn into applejack. it doesn't happen with the special defeat animations (which i love btw, you so need to include more for all of them ^^!), just the ones where you run out of hp normally and fall on your back.
4th one to include is the 'Give up" option when you lose all your hp. If you do that, your treated to a game over image, but the "game over options" carry over to everything, even when you go back to the title screen, and stick around unless you pick "Try again" (inadvertantly costing 1 life).

Hmmm kind of hard to recall... For starters, I think I'm always turning on the easy mode thing so I have double jump and whatnot. Secondly, don't remember exactly, but I think I usually go through the left side first for a few turns, and whether or not I complete it, I think that turns me to aj when I o through the right side. As I said, it's usually when I take non-animated defeat damage (binging my hp to zero) that I turn into aj in the defeat stance. I also think it's when I get hit by the skunks, as the animated losses do keep me with trixie
