First link is the ref sheet and second was just a recent piece I got done to have the fur on the muzzle a bit more blended rather then a more straight forward border haha. As for expression/emotion I was thinking of leaving it mostly up to artist freedom? I mean I do love teasing and messing with friends whenever I can so something along that area would always be great ^.^ Sorry I totally stumbled onto this by accident and didn’t have a full idea at the ready but you have some amazing work!
