In this drawing I tried some new techniques, such as: coloring from the inside out, adding hair texture by hand, Mask shading, more than one shading layer, lighter Ink lines, and scaled clouds.
However I noticed that the picture looks a little better without the inked lines. (making a lineless picture) but then that leaves white lines where all the other colors touch. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2119308/line_less.bmp
Better artists don't use solid lines in there work, so it gives the image a pseudo look of being made by a good artist.
Questions/comments welcome.
