A date with a Princess

Somewhere outside by the castle Royal Garden, Ditrih was sitting on the bench waiting for, Lady Nova to arrive for their outing tonight. Ditrih was a little annoyed that he had to sit out here in the cold for her, but the same time feeling nervous that he going on a date with royalty. At first when he got a letter from her saying that she wanted to go out with him later tonight, Ditrih thought it was going to be some sort of prank to pull on him for being the new guy. But once he see the fancy outfit, which was tailor to his exact sizes, he might be wrong about her. Except the part of her able to get his exact measurement, will hunts him in his dream for a few days. While his mind wonder for a moment, Ditrih was able to hear a familiar voice, which got his attention. Once he look, Ditrih see Lady Nova Maxwell wearing a fabulous red dress that made her look like a real princess. Ditrih couldn’t believe the person that gave him some hard time when he first came here, look like a whole different person. Lady Nova walk up to, Ditrih, showing more of her beauty. Ditrih had no clue what to say to her, except just bowing to her out of respect. Lady Nova laugh to herself, knowing that Ditrih was the same way like every other guy that see her that way. She laugh a little, until she slap Ditrih on the back, which made him fell face down to the ground. Lady Nova apology to him, forgetting about how strong she really is. Ditrih already forgave her quickly, not wanting to make any bad remorse with each other. Lady Nova was pleased to hear that from him, and help Ditrih from the floor. She asked, Ditrih to see if he liked the outfit that she made for him. Ditrih was caught off guard that she made that outfit for him, which part of him want to make sure to keep the outfit in good condition. He told her that he like it a lot, and was impress that the outfit fit him perfectly. Lady Nova was excited that he like the gift she gave him, and told Ditrih that the reason why she got the measurement fit him perfectly, she walk by his ears and whisper that she measure him while he was sleeping. Ditrih stood quite for a moment, and pretend that he didn’t hear that from her, plus remind himself to lock his room at night. Lady Nova chuckle to herself, couldn’t believe that he feel for that joke. After she was done laughing, Lady Nova ask Ditrih if he was ready to go out with her. He answer to her by nodding his head, but Ditrih ask her a quick question of why they going out all fancy, since this was a simple outing. Lady Nova told him that she personally wanted to congratulate him on passing the test of becoming a Templar, and a trusted bodyguard both her, and her older brother Thomas Maxwell. Ditrih still remember that harsh test he had to take. In order to serve the Maxwell family, he had to face a few of the royal family best knights. Not only that, Ditrih was facing two of the three commanders of the Templar knights, which was Lord Thomas, and Lady Nova herself. At first he thought, Ditrih though he was going to lose that fight, since Lord Thomas, and Lady Nova were furious foes to face on his own. But once her inner powers that came out of nowhere, Ditrih was able to beat them both. He remember seeing both King and Queen of Old England weren’t pleases of how dangerous he was, and wanted me exile from the kingdom. If it wasn’t for Lady Nova kindness who wanted him to stay, and have him as their bodyguard, Ditrih would have been wondering across the land without a home, or a purpose. When his mind came back from memory lane, Ditrih look up to, Lady Nova who he see her wondering if he was alright. He itch his head a little, and let her know that he was fine. Ditrih told her that he was thinking about something else. Lady Nova sigh in relief that Ditrih was alright, and continue on telling him that she have some plans for the both of them tonight. Ditrih wanted to see where they go, but since he is her bodyguard, and she is actual royalty. Ditrih does his best, and go wherever she was planning to do.

Later that night, Lady Nova, and Ditrih were both having a good time together. They head for the main square where they had a minor festival for the commoners to have a good time. They tried some of the food there, which Lady Nova eat a lot more than a whole family. They watch some performers summons their creatures, having them empress their adoring fans. Ditrih enjoy the show, and was empress of the creature’s performance. Lady Nova clap along as well, but her attention change when she heard a familiar music was playing nearby the fountain. Lady Nova eyes was glaring at the musicians that was playing a song that she always enjoy hearing. Ditrih look at Lady Nova, and ask her if she wanted to dance with him. Lady Nova was shock that he ask her to dance, like it was the first time anyone ever ask her like that. Ditrih see her acting nervous at first, but he gently held both her hands to calm her down, and let her know that he will guide her. Lady Nova said nothing at that point, and listen to him. The Musicians seen the both of them, and knew they were about to dance. They start playing the same song from the beginning, letting them know they were ready for them. Lady Nova was really nervous, showing her true self the first time, but her fear gone away for a split second, once Ditrih start moving his feet. At first their dance was a bit sloppy when, Lady Nova miss a few step, but Ditrih was able to saved her, and continue on dancing. After a few fail attempt, Lady Nova was able to keep up with him, and they were like professional dancer. They twist, and turn, letting their body flow with the music. When the musician reach the end of their song, Ditrih lean Lady Nova body, showing off a finishing pose of their dance. Everyone that was watching applause to them, enjoying the fantastic dance. Lady Nova was blushing a lot, surprise to see that, Ditrih had the strength to hold her at that pose. Ditrih was doing his best not to show it, since every single inch of his muscle was in pain from carrying her. When they were done dancing, Ditrih, and Lady Nova relax by the fountain, so they can catch their breath. Ditrih was relief that was over, especially from holding Lady Nova for that long period of time when dancing. He look at Lady Nova, and see her smiling, happy that she enjoy that dance. Lady Nova kept smiling a lot, like she never had that much of fun, other than going in the battlefield with her siblings. Ditrih ask Lady Nova is she ever done these sort of thing beside from the battlefield. Lady Nova stop smiling for a moment, and tell him that she rarely does fun things like that anymore. Ever since her bad relationship with her ex she knew from Le France, and leaving her two adult daughters behind, Lady Nova wanted to get away from her old past, and be with her family. Ditrih wanted to ask her about her ex, but seeing both anger, and sadness in her eyes, Lady Nova didn’t want to say much. Lady Nova look at him, and thank Ditrih for giving her something that she miss part of her life. She told him that out of everything she done, this night was one of the greatest moment of her life, and she forever thankful to give her the happiness she was missing. Ditrih face was blushing, couldn’t believe that he help her feeling happy. He usually the type that couldn’t do anything right, but seeing how he was able to make her happy, Ditrih just honor that he was able to do anything for her. Lady Nova added one thing that she wanted to do, something that she kind of ask him to help her with. Ditrih was about to ask her what he want him to do, but before he know it, Lady Nova came towards him, and kiss Ditrih on the lips. At first Ditrih was shock of what Lady Nova was doing. The back of his mind was telling him that he is so dead with her older brother, and the entire Maxwell family, but he was enjoying this kiss, and wish it didn’t end. After they were done kissing, Ditrih was still in shock of what happened, which he fainted a little, and fell in the water of the fountain. Lady Nova was laughing of what happed to Ditrih, and did her best to get him out. Ditrih was back to himself, but his outfit was soak and wet. Lady Nova apology for that, and promise him to get him a new one. Ditrih sigh and told her that he going to be fine. All he wanted is to head back to the castle, and get some rest. Lady Nova agree with him, and both of them walk back to the castle.

On the next morning, Ditrih was able to wake up from a long night sleep. Ditrih tried his best to remember what he did last night, but most of his memories were a blank. He walk back the table to grab something, and notice a letter was sitting there. It was another letter from Lady Nova, wanting to say thank for the wonderful night they had together. She told him that she wanted to go on another date next, but hopefully very soon. Ditrih finally remember that he went out with the fair Lady of this kingdom, and he had a good time with her. Ditrih was able to see the other side of Lady Nova. Sure most people won’t believe him that the fair Princess that enjoy being a pain towards everyone, but a national women when giving a chance. Before Ditrih started his day, he check his closet to see to find his gear, but once he check, he notice that all his stuff were gone. Ditrih search all over the closet, until he saw another letter from lady Nova, saying that she took his things to give them to wash. Ditrih might take back almost everything he said about her, but at least for the day.
