Wow, how kind Google is! I know, for some, me posting this is meh, but wanted to do it anyway as a possible future commission to some artist. I have been able to contribute a lot to Google Maps ( www.google.com/maps ) and post opinions to where I went, and even put some pictures up for viewing. As you can see here, the upper part of the sock has scenery and at the bottom, there is "LOCAL GUIDES." For some artists, they will not put too much detail in the scenery on the sock, but I'd be pleased if the tack is on one of them. Yes, you do see the certificate-if you get up to level 5 in giving their contributions, you will get these socks when Google Maps e-mails you. They're quite comfy and it is a change to my sock drawer. I won't wear it to school or even to the gym- if it is to a special occasion, I will. So if you are interested, you would want to set up a Google account and express yourself whenever you go ANYWHERE-you don't have to be situated just in your home metro area to get points towards such gifts from Google! Let's see what you can get at level 6...
